Serving the community for over 50 years In cooperation with Greene County Legislature, Greene County Agricultural Society, Inc., and Cornell Cooperative Extension January 2008 This year the Greene County Youth Fair proudly celebrates its 54th year of showcasing the best of our Greene County Youth. The Fair will take place Thursday, July 24th through Sunday, July 27th, at the Angelo Canna Town Park in Cairo, New York. Entry is open to all youth of Greene County and affords them the opportunity to showcase their talents and skills which they developed through 4-H Clubs, Scouts, FFA, and school projects. They will display crafts and agricultural projects of all types, which they have worked on individually or as a group during the past year. These projects will be judged and awarded ribbons or trophies and some may qualify for entry into the New York State Fair. We are asking Greene County businesses to support the Youth Fair through their donations. Your donation would go towards offsetting the costs of tents, entertainment, awards, and instructional exhibits. The Youth Fair is an excellent opportunity for our youth to display their talents, and inspire others to also become involved. The major goal of the Youth Fair is to provide an interesting and instructional way for family and friends to share quality time together, and to have fun while learning. We all know that our future, and the future of Greene County, depends on our youth. Your strong support will create a showcase for their endeavors. We are all affording our youth the opportunity to grow in confidence through work, cooperation, sharing, and continued education.
